Delivery Area
BANDWIDTH (trading as Bandwidth Meals, bandwidthmeals.com) delivers meals within approximately 7 km of our kitchen located in Krishnapur, Newtown, Kolkata โ 700102.
Our primary delivery zones include:
- Newtown (Action Area I, II, III)
- Rajarhat
- Eco Park area
- Baguiati
- VIP Road corridor (Kaikhali to Teghoria)
- Kestopur
- Chinar Park
- Noapara (Bidhannagar area)
Addresses outside our delivery zone will not be accepted at the time of subscription. If you relocate to an address outside our zone during an active subscription, please contact us โ we will try to accommodate or advise on options.
Delivery Days
- Regular delivery days: Monday through Saturday
- Sunday: Off by default. No deliveries on Sunday unless specifically announced via dashboard.
- Public holidays: We endeavour to deliver on all public holidays. In cases where we cannot, we will announce it at least 24 hours in advance via dashboard announcement and WhatsApp. Missed holiday deliveries will be rolled over as credit meals.
Delivery Timings
We operate two daily delivery slots:
If you require a delivery at a specific time within the window for a consistent reason (e.g., office break at 1:15 PM sharp), please discuss with us โ we will accommodate where operationally possible.
Delivery Process
- Meals are packed fresh in food-grade, leak-proof containers immediately before dispatch.
- Our delivery staff will attempt delivery to your registered address.
- For apartments and gated communities, please ensure your security desk or building entry allows our delivery personnel through, or make arrangements to collect at the gate.
- You will receive a WhatsApp notification when your meal is out for delivery (if our WhatsApp integration is active).
Failed & Missed Deliveries
If BANDWIDTH is unable to deliver (our fault):
- You will be notified via WhatsApp as soon as possible.
- A pro-rata credit will be applied to your next bill. See our Refund Policy for the calculation method.
If you are unavailable at delivery time (your responsibility):
- Our delivery person will attempt to reach you by phone (one attempt).
- If unreachable, the meal may be left at your door, building lobby, or a pre-agreed spot at your risk.
- BANDWIDTH is not liable for meals left unattended at your request or due to your unavailability.
- No credit will be issued for meals not accepted due to customer unavailability.
Skip Requests
- Skip requests must be submitted by 10:00 PM on the night before the delivery you wish to skip.
- Skips can be submitted through your customer dashboard under "My Plan โ Skip a Day".
- Skipped meals are automatically rolled over as credit meals โ they are added back to your meal count.
- You can skip individual slots (Lunch only, Dinner only) or both.
- There is no limit on the number of skip days per cycle, but recurring excessive skips without engagement may be reviewed.
Temporary Address Change
- You may request a one-time or short-term delivery to a different address within our delivery zone.
- The temporary address must be requested at least 24 hours in advance through your dashboard or by WhatsApp.
- Temporary addresses outside our delivery zone cannot be accommodated.
- For permanent address changes, update your profile in the dashboard. Our team will verify the new address is within our zone before confirming.
Daily Base Choice
Each day, you are asked to select your meal base (e.g., Rice, Roti, Jeera Rice) through your dashboard before the cut-off time:
- Lunch base: Select by 11:00 AM
- Dinner base: Select by 6:30 PM
If you do not select a base by the cut-off, your meal will be prepared with your plan's default base. We will send a reminder via WhatsApp before the cut-off.
Last-minute base change requests after the cut-off cannot be guaranteed and are subject to kitchen availability.
Packaging & Food Safety
- All meals are packed in food-grade, BPA-free containers that are sealed at dispatch.
- Meals are prepared fresh the same day โ no frozen or pre-cooked stock.
- Our kitchen follows standard food safety and hygiene practices. Chicken used in all non-vegetarian meals is 100% Halal certified.
- If you receive a meal with a broken seal, visible contamination, or unusual odour, do not consume it. Contact us immediately with a photo for a credit claim.
- Containers are single-use for hygiene. We encourage responsible disposal.
